40 mm Dry Seal - 66 mm Stern Tube

The Lasdrop Dryseal is a compact, economical lip seal designed for quick and easy installation. The lip seal, specially made for use at sea, is in constant low friction contact with the propeller shaft, preventing water from passing into your vessel. As in all Lasdrop Modells, the Dryseal contains a water-lubricated alignment bearing in the housing of the unit to keep it properly aligned with the shaft. An optional back-up seal is available that can be installed in the original installation in the future without the need to remove the shaft or unit.

• Split-face plate makes it easy to replace inner lip seal with an optional backup seal without the need for special installation tools.
• Seal housing is Hergestellt aus a durable copolymer with built-in water-lubricated bearings to ensure proper alignment of the shaft.
• Optional Back - up seal rotates freely on the shaft until replacement is required.
• Each kit contains AWAB hose clamps Hergestellt aus 316 Edelstahl with rolled-up band edges to remove the risk of damage to the hose. The non-perforated tire delivers twice the tensile strength of a fixed clamp.
