Crom® Head Gasket Set for Volvo Penta MD7A,B 876431 Head Gasket 3809167 0.8mm

This head gasket kit, also known as a decarbonizing gasket kit, includes the head gasket with reference  860749, 840910, 840270. This gasket kit has a 0.8mm thick head gasket and is suitable for MD7A engines, from motor number 35145 and upwards, as well as all MD7B engines. The cylinder head nuts with reference 463643 and the studs with reference 3875690, should be replaced when needed[1], and tightening should be performed as per the sequence shown on the second picture.

Tightening torque settings:

• Cylinder head nuts: 70 Nm (51Lbft.)
• Cylinder head studs: 20 Nm (14Lbft.)
  

[1] The cylinder head bolts should be replaced when there are signs of elongation, or cannot be specified if it is already elongated, by checking the "waist" of the bolt.
